The Division of Cardiovascular Intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital is dedicated to the improvement of patient health and well-being through diagnosis and treatment of disease processes intrinsic to or involving the vascular system. As part of its mission, the division maintains a deep commitment to providing comprehensive and compassionate clinical care, to patient and physician education, and to research and development of new diagnostic techniques and minimally invasive catheter-based treatments of vascular and nonvascular disease.

The Division of Cardiovascular Intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital consists of five full-time academic vascular interventional radiologists all of whom are board certified in general radiology, and fellowship trained with additional certification of qualification in vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures. In addition to the five staff members, the division supports a post-graduate fellowship program which trains four to five fellows each year. The division is also an integral participant in the Massachusetts General Hospital radiology residency training program.
