It is now possible to do online ordering of soft and hard copy radiological images / studies / folders from the ISC. ( Order Films Online )

Loading this site into your PC and a shortcut to your desktop takes less than 5 minutes. If, during the process you need help, or if you want this done for you, please don’t hesitate to call us at 6-1798.

1. Go to the Internet by opening your Partner’s Home Page or any other web site. In the address box type in, www.massgeneralimaging and press enter. This will take you to the MGH Radiology Home Page.
   
   
2. Select Order Films tab at the top of the page. You will now be at the order form.
   
   
3. Right click on a blank spot on the order form. A box will pop up. Click on "Create Shortcut". You will see a message, which reads "A shortcut to the current page will be placed on your desktop". Click "OK".
   
   
4. Minimize the page and look at your desktop to verify that the icon is there. It will read "page title". Right click on the icon and select "rename". Type "order x-ray" to make the icon more easily identifiable.
   
   

Now you can simply double click on the icon to order from the ISC. There are 3 important notes concerning ordering from the web site:

• The "Loan to" and "Contact name" are mandatory fields. The order will not process without this information. The phone field will also be mandatory in the near future, please fill it out.
  
  
• The "Accession" box can be left blank, but the rest of the fields should be filled in.
  When you submit the form, you will receive a "Reference #".
  
  
• To inquire about your order, please call 4-0204 and have the reference number available to help us locate your order more efficiently.
