MISSION
Gather, generate, develop and implement innovative ideas that will enhance the service, quality, operations, safety, and technology of the Department.
INITIAL AREAS OF FOCUS
- Identify and prioritize areas that could benefit from the development and application of innovative approaches.
- Select and acknowledge ideas that exemplify innovation values.
- Design a communication network to articulate and reinforce innovation values, activities and priorities. The IC will support and encourage employees at all levels to contribute and drive innovative change within the Department.
- Identify barriers to innovation that exist both within the Department and across partnerships.
