Inspiring Innovation in Imaging: First Radiology Innovation Award Contest Winners Announced

Innovation is defined as utilizing new ideas or applying current thinking in fundamentally different ways to bring about significant advances in the field. A growing number of corporations recognize that innovation must be embedded into the establishment's culture and operations in order to be successful. The goal of the MGH Radiology Innovation Council is to encourage employees at all levels to contribute and drive innovation within the department by promoting and facilitating the development of employee-initiated projects.

During the month of June, the Radiology Innovation Council welcomed innovative ideas via the Radiology Innovation Award Contest, with a focus on the improvement of patient care or operational efficiency in the Department. The winning proposal in each category will be awarded $1000 and the support of the Innovation Council for 1 year.
