Dynamic Contrast Enhanced MRI: Increased sensitivity for detection of prostate malignancies.

68 year old male patient with rising PSA and multiple negative trans-rectal ultrasound guided biopsies. MRI demonstrates ill-defined crescentic area of T2 hypointensity anteriorly in the transitional zone, with corresponding abnormal perfusion and restricted diffusion representing tumor. This was confirmed on repeat biopsy targeting this area.
