Points and payout:
- Points are determined by your position. We use the Fedex cup point system and it has really worked out well.
- Payouts are determined by your position. We will send out the P/L which will provide the amount. We hope to have money for an end of the year gathering and donate to a good cause as long as Langsy is not in charge.
General stuff:
- Handicap by GRINT or USGA – We will update your HC before the competition.
- Entering your scores into GRINT – use hole by hole scoring. It’s important to do this and enter your scores ASAP. Take a picture of your scorecard!
- Tees will vary by the course we play.
- Grouping will be determined by your standing moving forward.
- Have fun and be respectful to the group on the tee box.
- Two scorecards should be kept…one scorecard will be signed and turned it.
- Play ready golf since we have a big group.
- If you see something, say something. If someone is blatantly cheating or they may not know the rules, say something.
Technical stuff – all USGA rules apply except:
- We play everything down in fairways and rough. Unless noted before play due to weather conditions.
- OB – there is no OB to speed up play but you can’t play from there. Two club length from point of entry and one stroke penalty. If someone decides to tee off again, that is their 3rd shot.
Proposed additions/changes:
- Must putt out, NO GIMMES
- New bunker rules in effect. Play all bunkers as it lies unless it is in a footprint or casual water. Footprints and un-raked sand can be raked and ball placed no closer to the hole.
- If drop from shoulder height, no penalty
