Dr. Romero is a board certified neurologist, a staff Neuroradiologist and Pediatric Radiologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital, an assistant professor in radiology at Harvard Medical School, and Director of the Ultrasound Department for the last 7 years. He completed medical school and residency at Colombia School of Medicine, and Diagnostic Neuroradiology and Neurovascular fellowships at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He overviews more than 40 Ultrasonographers and 38 US units extended through the greater Boston area. Dr. Romero’s research focus is non-invasive neurovascular imaging, with special emphasis on CTA, MRA, ultrasound and Transcranial Doppler of acute stroke and carotid occlusive disease. He is a reviewer for the American Journals of Radiology and Neuroradiology.
