Former Radiologist-in-Chief at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Thrall was appointed to Radiologist-in-Chief at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 1988 and, at the same time, was the first person to hold the Juan M. Taveras Professorship of Radiology at the Harvard Medical School. He held this appointment for 25 years.
